How to install Sodium?

1. Use the download button above to find the release of Sodium that matches your Minecraft version. Check which loader that file supports.
2. Install the matching mod loader, following that loader's instructions. Do not assume a file for one loader works on another.
3. Start the loader profile once to initialize its game directory, then close Minecraft before adding files.
4. Download the mod .jar for Sodium and every required dependency. If the creator lists alternative setups, choose one complete compatible setup.
5. Open the game directory used by that loader profile. Place the mod and dependency .jar files in its mods folder; do not extract them or put them in resourcepacks.
6. Launch Minecraft using the same loader profile. Resolve any reported missing dependencies or incompatible versions before continuing.
