HT's TreeChop
By hammertater
HT's TreeChop lets you fell an entire tree by repeatedly chopping a log in its trunk. Each chop contributes to the same tree, and larger trees take more work before they break. You can keep working on one block, switch to another part of the trunk, or team up with other players to bring down a large tree together. This gives wood gathering a clear sense of progress while reducing the need to climb through branches to reach every log. The mod handles leaves when a tree is felled and also supports mushrooms, fungi, and most modded trees. Configurable chop requirements let you adjust the effort needed for different tree sizes. In-game settings control chopping behavior and whether a tree must have connected leaves, helping avoid accidental damage to wooden builds. With the default controls, sneaking lets you break individual logs normally whenever you need more precise control.

Flowing Fluids
By Traben
Flowing Fluids brings more realistic water and lava behavior to Minecraft. Liquids spread across the terrain, travel downhill, fill empty spaces, and collect in pools, with most fluid supplies becoming finite. This makes water management part of building and survival: you can construct aqueducts, redirect a flow, drain an area, or use pistons to pump liquid upward. Oceans, rivers, and swamps can replenish water at configurable rates, while rain can refill partially filled water blocks. The mod offers extensive settings for flow distance, leveling behavior, performance, and appearance. Optional gameplay changes let farmland, animal breeding, and bottle filling consume water, giving you more reasons to maintain a reliable supply. It also supports many fluids added by other mods and includes dedicated settings for Create pipes and water wheels. These options let you adjust how strongly fluid physics affects your world, from occasional building experiments to more involved water systems.

ParCool!
By alRex_U
ParCool! expands Minecraft movement with a broad set of parkour actions and dedicated animations. Run along walls, jump away from them, vault over obstacles, slide, crawl, or cling to a cliff edge as you move through the world. The mod also includes dodges, dives, faster running, flips, hanging, and breakfall moves, giving you more ways to approach routes that would normally rely on walking and jumping. Each action has its own animation, helping movement sequences feel more fluid. A wide range of configuration options lets you adjust the experience, with settings intended for individual players, modpack creators, and server hosts. Open the in-game configuration menu with Alt+P to explore the available options. A separate guidebook explains the actions and controls; installing the optional Patchouli mod makes that guide available inside Minecraft as well.
