A client-side customization mod for resource packs. Polytone lets packs modify biome colors, colormaps, particles, sounds, map colors, GUI elements, and other visual properties while supporting several OptiFine-style formats.

Dropz changes how dropped items behave by giving them physical movement through the Rayon physics API. When you throw something onto the ground, it settles as a physical object instead of using the usual vanilla item-drop behavior. This makes dropping items a more tangible interaction and changes the way loose objects appear in the world. Sneaking while dropping an item lets you throw it with extra force, adding another way to interact with your surroundings. Items moving fast enough can even damage mobs and other players, so a powerful throw can affect more than where an object lands. The mod also preserves items already saved on the ground if you later disable it. Rayon is required and must be installed separately for Dropz to work.

A modern shader loader for Minecraft focused on compatibility and performance. Iris Shaders runs many existing OptiFine shader packs while integrating with modern rendering mods such as Sodium.
