Flowing Fluids
By Traben
Flowing Fluids brings more realistic water and lava behavior to Minecraft. Liquids spread across the terrain, travel downhill, fill empty spaces, and collect in pools, with most fluid supplies becoming finite. This makes water management part of building and survival: you can construct aqueducts, redirect a flow, drain an area, or use pistons to pump liquid upward. Oceans, rivers, and swamps can replenish water at configurable rates, while rain can refill partially filled water blocks. The mod offers extensive settings for flow distance, leveling behavior, performance, and appearance. Optional gameplay changes let farmland, animal breeding, and bottle filling consume water, giving you more reasons to maintain a reliable supply. It also supports many fluids added by other mods and includes dedicated settings for Create pipes and water wheels. These options let you adjust how strongly fluid physics affects your world, from occasional building experiments to more involved water systems.
